The AGM is an opportunity to recap on the last year of club activities, vote in new committee members and shape the course of the club for the year to come.

Date: Tuesday, 2nd August 2022

Time: 6.45PM arrival for 7.00PM start

Venue: Toowong Library, Toowong. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom link will also be sent out nearer the time.

Food: Food and soft drinks will be provided for the AGM. BYO alcohol.

Call for Nominations

You are invited and encouraged to nominate for the Committee positions of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Diving Officer

Please send nominations in writing, proposed and duly seconded by a financial member, ideally by 23rd July 2022. However, nominations can also be made during the meeting.

Additional voting Committee roles include Equipment Officer, Membership Officer, Training Officer, Welfare Officer, Social Secretary and Systems Officer. Please consider volunteering for these roles.

Motions

If you want to move a motion(s) for consideration at the AGM it needs to be received by me ( Secretary) by 23rd July 2022 (i.e. 10 days prior to the AGM) at the latest. 

Please send motions in writing, proposed and duly seconded by a financial member.

Voting

Only financial members of BSAC and the branch may vote. Please ensure you have paid your 2022/23 local branch fees & your BSAC membership is up to date.

Members may vote by proxy if you are unable to attend the meeting.
