Double boat dive with Blue Bay Divers, Saturday 26th February 2022

Diver grades: This dive is suitable for all diver grades. Bring your qualification card and any medical exemption certificates to show the operator when completing their waiver.

Number of places: We have the whole boat so there are eight spots available. There will be two guides on board.

Meeting point: Brunswick Heads Boat Harbour, Brunswick Heads, NSW. The meeting time is 7:00am.  **This is NSW time**

Training: Any training given will depend on the availability of instructors on the day. Please let me know when you register if you have lessons that you would like to complete so training can be planned both within the club and with Blue Bay.

Equipment: Usual dive equipment including SMB, knife/ line cutter, whistle and snorkel are required.

Rental equipment is available from Blue Bay Divers if required at extra cost. Please indicate if you would like to hire equipment from Blue Bay below or for club equipment put in an equipment request via the website.

Other Stuff: Depending on the weather forecast bring appropriate wet weather, wind or sun protection gear.

Bring sea sickness medication if you are susceptible.

Hot drinks and snacks will be provided for the surface interval. If you have any dietary requirements please bring your own snacks.

We will go into Brunswick Heads for lunch after the trip.

Costs: If you bring all of your own gear the cost will be $190 per person for 2 dives, including air tanks.  Obviously this is higher than people remember pre-pandemic.  However, I think it is still good value given the excellent guides, surface snacks and cylinders included.  It is also important to recognise that the SCUBA diving industry has taken a big hit during the pandemic and it'll be nice to be back diving and supporting an operator the club has had a long history with. 

Non-refundable unless cancelled by Blue Bay or if you find a replacement.

Travel: Drive time will be approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from Brisbane. If required we can arrange car pooling. Please let me know how many people (plus dive kit) you think you can fit in your car.
