Event information

This event is full.

Apologies - change of time as we aren't allowed to enter the meeting room until 9am as it is a residential area. We are running an oxygen administration course PRIMARILY for any Dive Leader Trainees who need it, but there will be space for others to attend either as a refresher, or if you have never done it before!

The course includes a mixture of lectures and practical and familiarising yourself with the Club's O2 equipment.

It is open to all level of divers - the more people with the skills, the better the support we can all offer - if needed!

As an addition, we can offer this as a Skill Development Course (SDC) (http://www.bsac.com/page.asp?section=3605). This involves a cost of $60 (approx, depends on postage & currency conversion). You get a course pack and will be required to pass a practical and theory test at the end of the course. If successful you can apply for an Oxygen Administration qualification card.

**If you wish to do it as a SDC please sign up by this Friday 13th October, so the material can be ordered from the UK**

TIME: 8.30am until around 3.30 pm. The meeting room is up a ramp, I understand – note: the library will be closed at this time, but I shall try to remember to have the Brisbane SAC sign to guide your way.

LEVEL: Ocean Diver (or equivalent) and above

FOOD: Please bring lunch / all food drinks you want for the day. There is a kitchenette on site, but I am not sure if there is a fridge. I will bring tea/coffee, sugar and milk

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable loose clothing / trousers (i.e. suitable for kneeling down and doing chest compressions)

WHAT TO BRING: Paper, pencil, enthusiasm!
