The ability to provide first aid is an important skill for everyone to possess. This is particularly so for divers. Like any skill we need to practise it regularly.

HLTAID003 - Apply First Aid (previously Senior first Aid) is a nationally accredited training course to give you the skills and knowledge to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty, the incident and other first aiders. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certification.

The course will be run exclusively for Brisbane-BSAC members and is offered by our friends at Dive Dive Dive/First Aid Brisbane at their premises. It is not purely diving first aid but Jason and Jen have the knowledge and experience to make the course as relevant to diving as possible while meeting the requirements of the course. Cost

Cost will be $100 per person. If you compare prices you will find that this is extremely competitive for this course.

Unique Student Identifier

Before starting the course, participants who do not already have one will need to obtain a Unique Student Identifier (USI). This is required by all trainees doing nationally recognised training. If you would like to attend please register as soon as possible for the course. We will need a minimum of 8 participants to make the BSAC class viable.
