Tweed training dive - HW 15:35

Event information

Registrations for this event are closed.

The Tweed River and Jack Evans Harbour offer a sheltered environment for training, skills-refresh or just for a dive around the interesting rock wall and rock formations. The quantity and variety of marine life can be quite surprising. The adjacent grassy parkland area offers the opportunity for open-air socialising.

Any member who is (a) a financial member and (b)  whose skills and recent experience allow them to dive safely is welcome to come along and do your own thing. If you're rusty you'll need a suitable buddy and plan.

Maximum usual depth is 11m Conditions can be variable and the site is prone to tidal current so is usually dived around slack water.

Meeting places and times:

The training group will meet around midday. First dive on the flood tide will be in Jack Evans Harbour. Second dive at slack water will be around 3PM.

High Water is at 3:37PM. There is a very low tidal range.
