Oxygen Administration Course

We are aiming to run an annual Rescue / Safety skills update and refresher, included in this is the Oxygen Administration Course.

 

Following the success of last year's course we will be running it in a similar format and once again at our Treasurer's offices.  The course includes a mixture of lectures and practical and familiarising yourself with the Club's O2 equipment.  

 

It is open to all level of divers

 

As an addition, this year we will offer the opportunity to do it as a Skill Development Course (http://www.bsac.com/page.asp?section=3605) This involves a cost of $60 (approx, depends on postage & currency conversion).  You get a course pack and will be required to pass a practical and theory test at the end of the course.  If successful you can apply for an Oxygen Administration qualification card.  

 

**If you wish to do it as a SDC please sign up by 30th June so the material can be ordered from the UK**

 

TIME: 8am, please arrive promptly so that we can go up to the offices as one group 

LEVEL: Ocean Diver (or equivalent) and above

FOOD: Tea / Coffee are available via an honesty box system, please bring lunch / all food necessary for the day

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable clothing / trousers (i.e. suitable for kneeling down and doing chest compressions)

WHAT TO BRING: Paper, pencil, enthusiasm!
