Tweed River Diving Day

Keen to go for an easy fun dive, practise and polish your skills, test out new gear or simply just potter around?

The Tweed River is a great site for all of that. Even better, you can see lots of fish, turtles,  rays, wobbegongs (my favourites) and if you are lucky even dolphins and eagle rays. With an average depth of about 8m it's a great site from Ocean Diver upwards.

Looking for variety? The site offers different dive options as well, so depending on your experience you can do a drift dive from the beach towards Jack Evans Harbour, you can just do a cruise around at the entrance stairs or you can do a drift dive river inwards, where cool coffee rocks and crevices are home to lots of different animals. Depending on how far you get, there are even sea grass patches which are interesting to explore and supposedly a wreck (which I haven't found yet.).

So, if you are keen.... get your gear and come along!!!
