Tweed River Training/Diving
The Tweed offers a sheltered environment to refresh skills or just for a tootle up the river collecting sinkers for diving weights, looking to see what's under those rocks and if you can find the bathtub and Buddha again. There will be Ocean and Sports Diver training occurring from late morning in the harbour and river, but anyone else is welcome to come along and do your own thing. If anyone else would like training let us know and we will see if it can be fitted in.
Average depth is around 8m so it's perfect for all grades of divers.
Date and Time: Meeting from 10:30AM for the 11:30AM dive briefing (QUEENSLAND times). I'm estimating slack at around midday or shortly afterwards but we will assess actual current and conditions at the time. You know how long it takes for you to kit up.
Meeting Point: The car park near the stairs, Coral Street, Tweed Heads, NSW (see map on the 'Resources' page of the website)
Organiser: Gavin Wills
