There are 10 spots available to dive one of Australia's premier dive sites.  The cave is a great swim through and the opening on the shallower side is spectacular, you'll be mesmerised from watching the grey nurse sharks swim in and out of cave opening. The date has been chosen to coincide with our friends from Adelaide BSAC who will be there that weekend too.

South West Rocks Dive Centre are able to cater for all diving levels.

Organiser: Gavin Wills. See Member List for email address and phone number.

Diver grades: This dive is suitable for all diver grades subject to approval of the DM/DO. Please note that the deep side of the cave is 24m and it is fairly narrow at points, however the shallower side is 12m and quite wide, so even those who are apprehensive about the cave can still have a look (see here) - but please note that this is still an absolutely amazing shark watching dive even if you don't do the cave! And the shop staff will make sure everyone has a great and safe dive, regardless of their level. They provide nitrox for everyone (for an extra safety margin, as it's not possible to exceed the MOD) but those who are not nitrox-certified must use air settings/tables.

Equipment: Divers must bring full diving kit but tanks & weights are provided.  Divers should carry knife/line cutter, whistle, DSMB and reel, TORCH and snorkel. If you need club gear, please make sure you arrange this with the Equipment Officer well ahead of time. Torches are available to borrow from the dive shop.

- Also bring a jacket, wooly hat & gloves if you're prone to getting cold in between dives. Sunscreen and hats are also a good plan.

- Sea sickness tablets are recommended!

- Bring your certification card(s), including whatever certifies you to dive nitrox (so you don't have to use air settings).

Operator: South West Rocks Dive, https://swrdive.com.au/dive/

Travel: SW Rocks is a 6 hour drive from Brisbane, due to that we will arrange car pooling so the driving time can be shared and nobody is driving whilst tired (especially on the return trip on the Sunday).

- Extra costs are likely to be in the region of $50 for petrol, lunch and snacks (true cost shared equally among the group). BYO Alcohol. We will try to meet with the Adelaide group for Saturday night dinner, which may mean it's a little more expensive if we do something fancy (TBC).

Diving & Accommodation: We have 10 diving spots reserved & 10 beds booked.  If any non-divers come we will need to know ahead of time, so please include this in your sign up. Also, if you would like to pay extra to upgrade to a private room, please indicate this in the notes field - this is subject to availability.

Waitlist: If the trip is fully booked on the website and you want to be put on a waitlist (in-case of drop outs or more spaces being added) please send me an email.

Divers Cost: $TBA for 2 nights accommodation + 4 dives (nitrox is free) + food & fuel

Non-Divers Cost: $TBA per night (TBC - this was what it was last time, but we'll double-check) + food & fuel
