Double boat dive with Dive Dive Dive on Aquanutz 2.
Organiser: Will (will_uxo@yahoo.com.au). See Member List for email address and phone number.
Diver grades: This dive is suitable for all diver grades.
Meeting point: Lighthouse Parade, Fingal Head NSW. There should be adequate parking at the boat ramp, just be aware of the reversing trailers when walking around the parking area. There are public toilets here, but you may need to bring toilet paper!
Training: Any training requirements will be dependent on the availability of instructors on the day. Please submit your training requests to either myself or the acting Training Officer by Friday 18th November.
Equipment: All open water dive gear, including two (2) scuba cylinders filled with your choice of breathing gas. Nitrox 36 would be ideal for this site, although anything between Air and Nitrox 36 is suitable, if your qualifications allow?
A delayed SMB and reel would be advantageous on this dive, if only to practice this skill. Divers should also carry knife/ line cutter, whistle and snorkel.
Any dive gear or gas requirements can be ordered through the Dive Dive Dive shop on 07 3890 4443.
Other Stuff: Bring any refreshments and any warm clothing you require during the surface interval.
This is a 'wet' boat, so bring suitable clothing/ hat if needed. Bring the usual sun protective items, i.e. sun hat, sun creme, etc.
There will be little shelter from any swell on this site, so if you require sea sickness medication, please take it in advance!
Operator: Dive Dive Dive. Website: http://www.divedivedive.com.au
Costs: The cost is $110 for 2 dives. As this dive is only a few weeks away, please make full payment to the Club account after registration to confirm your place.
If you pull out of the trip after this, it is up to you to find a suitable replacement. Extra costs for gear hire. BYO food and drink.
Travel: Drive time will be approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from Brisbane. If required, we will help arrange car-pooling. Please let me know if you are happy to drive and how many people (plus dive kit) you think you can fit in your car.
The meeting time will be confirmed closer to the trip but is likely to be between 6.30 and 7am NSW time. Be aware that NSW will be on daylight saving time and 1 hour ahead of Queensland, so it will be an early start if you are driving down in the morning.
Waitlist: If the trip is fully booked on the website and you want to be put on a waitlist (in-case of drop outs or more spaces being added) please send me an email.
The Plan (timings are close but are TBC).

Site will be dependent on the boat skippers mooring location, generally the site will be between 12 and 20 metres deep, with a slight current.
