CANCELLED - Double boat dive with Blue Bay Divers, Sunday 5 April 2020.

Diver grades: This dive is suitable for all diver grades. Bring your qualification card and any medical exemption certificates to show the operator when completing their waiver.

Number of places: We have the whole boat so there are ten spots available. There will be two guides on board.

Meeting point: Brunswick Heads Boat Harbour, Brunswick Heads, NSW. The meeting time is 7:00am. Daylight saving ends on this day so this is the meeting time in NSW and QLD. The earlier we set off, the better the trip will be - so don't be late!

Training: Any training given will depend on the availability of instructors on the day. Please let me know when you register if you have lessons that you would like to complete so training can be planned both within the club and with Blue Bay.

Equipment: Usual dive equipment including SMB, knife/ line cutter, whistle and snorkel are required.

Rental equipment is available from Blue Bay Divers if required at extra cost. Please let them know if any rental gear (including tanks) is required when you confirm your spot with Blue Bay Divers.

Other Stuff: Depending on the weather forecast bring appropriate wet weather, wind or sun protection gear.

Currently there are no toilets or changing facilities available at the harbour. The nearest toilets are at the Caltex service station or in town. There is a toilet on the dive boat for once we are all aboard. 

Bring sea sickness medication if you are susceptible.

Hot drinks and snacks will be provided for the surface interval. If you have any dietary requirements please bring your own snacks. We will go into Brunswick Heads for lunch after the trip.

Costs: If you bring all of your own gear the cost will be $125 per person for 2 dives. The cost with tanks (air) is $145. The cost with full gear is $190.

Once you have registered for the event on the website please contact Blue Bay Divers - 1800 858 155, with your credit card details to confirm your place. Make sure you tell them you are part of the BSAC trip. I will not be taking deposits for this trip. If you need to pull out of the trip, let me know early so a suitable replacement can be found. If you pull out after Thursday night (2 April) you will be liable for the full cost of the trip unless you find a suitable replacement. Payment will not be taken if the trip is cancelled by Blue Bay Divers.

Travel: Drive time will be approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from Brisbane. If required we can arrange car pooling. Please let me know how many people (plus dive kit) you think you can fit in your car.
