Can you help out? To make this day a big success we need instructors who can help out with SO1 rescue skills lession and possibly with refreshers. We need surface cover to be provided and maybe experienced buddies for divers who have not been to the Tweed before.
Diver grades: Everyone welcome but the number of 'refresher' divers will depend on the number of instructors.
Equipment: Full SCUBA kit including tank and weights. Divers must carry knife/line cutter, whistle, safety sausage or DSMB + reel and snorkel.
Hire of Equipment: Click here: https://www.brisbane-bsac.com/equipment/ if you need to hire any club kit. Alternatively you can hire tank and weights, etc. from Kirra Dive http://www.kirradive.com by arrangement directly with the shop or another supplier.
Costs: No costs (apart from your own costs of tank fills and carpooling if required).
Travel: Carpooling - Please advise if you need a lift or can carpool. You may need to arrange a border permit to reenter Queensland after the dive depending on regulations on the date.
Let the organiser know if you have any questions.
