Tweed River Training/Diving Afternoon

**THIS SUNDAY - 16th September**

Hi all

The Tweed offers a nice sheltered environment to refresh some skills or just for a little tootle up the river (but not too far please!) looking to see whats under those rocks and if you can find the bathtub and Buddha again. There will be Sports Diver training occurring from late morning in the harbour and river, but anyone else is welcome to come along and do your own thing. If anyone else would like training let us know and we will see if it can be fitted in.

Average depth is around 8m so it's perfect for all grades of divers. You can either do a drift dive or just a normal cruise from the entrance stairs.

Date & Time: Meeting from 12:30pm for the 13:30pm High Tide. You know how much time you personally need to kit up :-)

Meeting Point: The car park near the stairs, Coral Street, Tweed Heads, NSW (see map on the 'Resources' page of the website)

Organiser: Laura Bellis and Gavin Wills

See Member List for email address and phone number.

Diver grades: All levels welcome!!!

Equipment: Full SCUBA kit including your own tank and weights.  Divers should carry knife/line cutter, whistle, safety sausage or DSMB & reel and snorkel.
