Guest Divers

Suitably qualified non-members may dive with Brisbane BSAC as a guest of a current member who is also participating on the same trip.

We request that guest divers support our efforts to have a safe and enjoyabe event.  To this end we ask you to be a prudent and cooperative participant, in particular

• Provide information and documentation requested by the event manager;
• Listen attentively to briefings and follow advice and instruction given by the event manager and any commercial operator used;
• Do not dive unless you are physically and mentally fit to do so; and
• Dive within the limits of your diving qualification and current experience.

What happens when you sign on as a guest diver?

As a guest diver we will send you a 'Participation in a Branch Event as a Non-BSAC Member' form.  Please take the time to read this document, sign and return it.  Once you have returned this form and you signed up to the trip will receive the same trip-related information that is sent to all participants.

Cancellation

The same cancellation policy applies to guests as to members i.e. you are responsible for payment for your trip unless a suitable replacement can be found or the trip is cancelled by the operator (e.g. due to bad weather).
